香港旅遊日記 之 昂坪纜車 + 天壇大佛
This was taken by Chrysan at Changi Airport.
We were trying to repack our luggage to meet the baggage allowance.
Rather good experience though.
Heheh.
And so, we reached HongKong International Airport at 1030am.
Did our immigration and stuff, repacked our luggage...
And, off we go to 大嶼山 (Lantau Island).
There are many different ways to go to Lantau Island,
you can either take bus up, or take the 昂坪纜車!
And, we all decided to take the cable car.
As we were tagging our luggage with us, we used their Luggage Storage Service.
The Luggage Storage Service is located near the Taxi Stand.
Every piece of baggage cost HKD 50.
So, after we're done with our luggage, we went up to get our cable car tickets.
And TADANG~
We chose to take the CRYSTAL CABIN!!!
It was a cool experience though, despite the fact that im fear of heights!
Rate for Standard Cabin is HKD 135.
Rate for Crystal Cabin is HKD 213.
Yay! We're gonna take the cable car!
Just see how happy they are taking the CRYSTAL CABIN.
MY FACE, LOL~
Crystal Cabin is just like how this photo is.
You could see what's beneath you.
Oh my goodness.
Can you imagine how afraid i was?!!
LOL~
Smiling, but still very scared.
Hahhaha!
Ohh, and you cant imagine how cold it is in the cable car.
There's no aircon in it.
Its the natural wind that's cold.
Plus, it was kinda drizzling when we were on our way down.
HOSEH~
Cold die me!
And, our purpose for coming to Lantau Island was to see the 天壇大佛!
You have to walk through 昂坪市集 and climb up 286 steps to reach 天壇大佛.
Which means, i've conquered the 286 steps.
That was a tiring trail.
Heh.
But,
The view is just so magnificent!!
Just look~
So, after leaving Lantau Island,
we went to check in to our Apartment, which was located at 旺角洗衣街.
Kinda got lost finding our way. Hahah!
So when we reached, Cathy (my "landlord") briefed me on the stuff that's in the apt.
Let me try out the keys and stuff.
And something amazed me!
Their direction is so different from Singapore.
Usually when we want to open our door, we will turn anti-clockwise.
But in HongKong, its the opp.
So, i actually took a few days to get used to it.
Hahha, NOOB~
So we settled down and blah blah blah,
and off we went for dinner and SHOPPING.
First stop was 女人街.
Didnt really buy a lot of things there.
Maybe reason being, i've been there for idk how many times.
And i bought 軟雪糕 from 雪糕車 again. HKD 9
Forever!
