香港旅遊日記 之 澳門一日游

So, as planned on our 2nd day, we are going over to MACAU~
But before we go, we had a 點心 breakfast at 添好運 at 深水埗.
Then,
We took a MTR over to 上環.
As we will need to go over to 信德中心 to get our Ferry Ticket.
There are many different travel agency there, so being a kiasu Singaporean,
COMPARE PRICE lorh~
But we didnt much compare price, and we settled at the HKD 150 ferry ticket.
I guess because 4/4/13 was their 清明節, and it was a PUBLIC HOLIDAY,
thats why there were so many people going over to Macau.
So, we have to be on the standby list for the next ferry.
I think we reached Macau at abt 12 plus 1.
Ferry ride was 45 mins to 1 hour.
Because Macau's Ferry Terminal had all sorts of free shuttle bus to various hotels,
we hopped on the one to Sands.
As it is only across the road to our first stop: 澳門漁人碼頭
And, the whole Sands building is like mirror man!
The photo above is a good example.
Macau's Fishermen Wharf is really a good place to take photos!
As we were kinda rushing for time, so we chop chop take photos,
and off we go to 二龍喉公園 to take cable car up to 松山.
That's where the 東望洋炮台 is located at!
MOP 3 for a round trip cable car.
But, the duration on the cable car is only 90 seconds nia.
A photo of how the cable car looks like.
They take a max of 4 pax per cable car.
東洋洋炮台!
The view up there is also, woohoo~
Next, we set off to 新馬路, to head over to 大三巴牌坊.
Ohh, when we reach 新馬路, we felt kinda hungry so we bought food from McDonalds.
And they had this damn good McCurry! Wow~ Best!
Go read up on Ruins of St Paul, and you will know why it is like that.

"Built from 1582 to 1602 by the Jesuits, the cathedral was one of the largest Catholic churches in Asia at the time, and the royalty of Europe vied with each other to bestow upon the cathedral the best gifts. With the decline in importance of Macau, which was overtaken as the main port of Pearl River Delta by HongKong, the cathedral's fortunes similarly ebbed, and it was destroyed by a fire during a typhoon in 1835. The Fortaleza do Monte overlooks the ruin." -- Wikipedia

Then, we went to 澳門威尼斯人酒店, to buy our ferry ticket
and to try our luck at their casino.
Heh.
I lost HKD 9 sia! Lol.
Guess who's the big winner?!!
Play until too high, and we miss our ferry.
:P
But, luckily the guy at the ferry terminal was kind enough to allow us to take the next ferry.
Phew~
Reached Hongkong at 12 plus 1, i think.
And the shutter at our apt was shut.
Its like those HK drama, there's this small door to walk through one.
SO COOL~
